Excellent service from Wex

Excellent service from Wex , I ordered a BenQ monitor to go with my Chillblast computer , in order to edit my photographs .It arrived within a couple of days of ordering . Very happy with the Monitor and service from Wex.Peter Wessel .

The website for orders was easy to use

The website for orders was easy to use so I found what I was looking for with minimal fuss. Wex are a trusted brand as far as I am concerned having dealt with them for both new and used, and in the shop as well as online

Tried tricking me into thinking I’ve saved money

EDIT After reading and responding to this review, Wex refunded some money and gave me a lot better deal which I’m happy with. I’m obviously a little put off about the original customer service, but this team member was bery helpful. Due to the softboxes in the kit I wanted to buy being out of stock and Wex said they had no confirmed date when they’d be back I had to buy everything seperatly from the kit including 2 softboxes of a different size from those in the kit. Of course this made it a lot more expensive to buy inidividually. On an email, a team member said to ring up and they could possibly try to do a similar deal. I did so, and placed my order. However they tried to make it seem like I have saved a discount of £104 when really I wasn’t saving anything as I could have bought the 2 flash heads and stands in a kit, then the softboxes seperately. The team member just did the entire order individually then took off £104 to make it the same price as if I had done it with the kit and then softboxes. So basically, I have paid more money and recieved less items than what would be in the out of stock kit as you also get a case with that. I just don’t like the fact they have tried to trick me into thinking I am saving money. And lastly, they really need to put fragile stickers on boxes, and ensure they aren’t damaged. One of the flash head boxes had been punctured which isn’t good on a piece of kit that is worth hundreds

Excellent product coupled with poor delivery service

Excellent product (Peak Design Slide Camera Strap) coupled with poor delivery service. Parcelforce stated that the delivery would be between 14:31 and 15:31 on Wednesday 7th April. Waited in all that afternoon, no one turned up, tracked the parcel at 17:30 only to be told that as I hadn't received a card through our letterbox the driver had been unable to find our location. Next morning (Thursday 8th April) the tracking stated that the parcel would be delivered that day (no timings given), the parcel arrived at 10:36 am.

Overall very good

Overall very good. Would have been 5 star but no clear guidance on sending off my camera for Wex valuation. I asked and was casually told -our guy will pick it up! So I didn’t pack it well enough for a courier service to take it for 2 day trip to to Norwich. Was concerned that my valuable camera would be damaged. Think they must give clear guidance on this. But very pleased with new camera - so far (only got yesterday).

Persistent emails take up time

Persistent emails from Wex take up time and are completely unnecessary! Delivery and product is good but persistent emails will only put me off buying from you.

Didn't show camera was out of stock…

Didn't show camera was out of stock when purchased, 7 weeks to supply camera. No link to show which Sd reader card (which is not included). Will not be using them again.

Disappointing Service!

I was very disappointed with the service I received from Wex Photo this time around, having used them on several occasions in the past. Firstly, when I went to post off my parcel containing my old gear for part exchange, the label I printed out would not be accepted by the Post Office scanner and I had to pay over £16 to send off the parcel. I did let Wex know the new tracking number and I had hoped they would reimburse me or at least add the amount to my final quote, which incidentally was less than the initial quote.I used my trade in quote to buy a almost mint Olympus OMD EM1ii body and a mint Zuiko 12-40mm Pro lens, both arrived safely and the parcel was very well padded. I am very happy with my new gear but I am not sure whether I will be using Wex photo again to be honest.

Ordered a Manfrotto tripod which came…

Ordered a Manfrotto tripod which came with no head; my bad I guess, but for less experienced buyers would be useful to specify it more clearly. The delivery company used to ship items is just inefficient; not ideal with expensive purchases such as photographic gear.

As Usual, Excellent Service

I cannot fault the service I receive from WEX. purchase is easy, delivery on time. When I have had occasion to speak to an assistant I have always found them helpful, honest in their opinions, and a good source of product knowledge.
